All of the products used are free from animal testing, do not contain animal derivatives and are as environmentally responsible as possible.

MICHELLE MAXWELL
Michelle is a fully qualified and insured beauty therapist with over 25 years of experience. In that time Michelle owned and managed salons locally and in West Yorkshire, and spent time in the Middle East.
Over the years she has become more interested in how her actions affect the planet. this has lead to a more considered approach to products and practices she uses at home.
Recently Michelle has made the decision to extend this approach to her salon. Within the salon you will find a relaxed, calm and professional atmosphere with fabulous products and treatments. Michelle’s vast experience in the beauty industry means you can be assured you will leave feeling your absolute best, all whilst doing your bit to protect mother earth.

SUGARING
Developed by Ancient Egyptians, for whom a hairless body represented affluence and class. Sugaring is a safe and natural alternative to traditional waxing. Using an organic paste made of sugar, lemon juice and water, applied by hand and removed in the direction of hair growth.
LASHES & BROWS
Bold and beautiful or tamed and tidy. Using vegan and cruelty free products from Kalentin and LashArt’s “Air lift your lashes”range. Your lashes and brows will look naturally fabulous.
HANDS
Manicures are an essential luxury. Whatever your preference; gel, traditional or no polish, even if your nails are problematic. A polished finish can be yours.
FEET
Your feet carry you, on average 75,000 miles in your lifetime. Whatever your foot concern; dry skin, cracked heels, unsightly nails or if you just want them to look and feel great. There is a pedicure treatment for everyone.

OUTBACK ORGANICS
Outback Organics fuse the latest cosmetic ingredients with innovative natural extracts from the coastline, forests and bush lands of Australia to create ethical skin care and waxing products. Cruelty free, paraben free, palm oil free and vegan.
KALENTIN
Registered with the Vegan Society, the Kalentin range of tints, lifting and lamination products has been stringently tested to ensure it meets strict vegan values. The range is cruelty free with animal friendly alternatives used instead. Kalentin is used for all lash and brow treatments.
NAISANCE
At Naissance, it’s all about putting ethics first! That is why, since Naissance started in 2005, they have worked tirelessly to achieve the official accreditations they have today with the Soil Association, Leaping Bunny and Vegan Society. At Lace Cottage many of their ingredients can be found in the handmade creams, scrubs and oils used in massage and body treatments.
